Community Association
The North City Park Civic Association (NCPCA) was first organized over 35 years ago for the purpose of creating and maintaining a better quality of life for all people residing in the North City Park area. This non-profit organization is comprised of members residing in this area and is governed by a Board of Directors.
In The Past
NCPCA was responsible for obtaining new street lights & alley dumpsters. Led neighborhood cleanups and graffiti patrols. Pushed for getting alleys paved and sidewalk improvements. Forced crack houses to shut down. As well as, the development of Northeast Denver Community Park (MLK Blvd. & Colorado Blvd.), and the creation of a Unity Playground (north of Fire Station #10).
Currently
The NCPCA has over 250 due paying members and is active in community outreach.

Board members include Bobbie Brown, James Brown, Edith Cousins, Deborah Fard, David Goens, Forrest Hobbs, Jason Kallas, Lauri Oye, Robin Oye, and Penelope Zeller.
Membership
North City Park Civic Associations operates on a minimal budget, supported by resident’s yearly membership fees and a series small grants. If you are a member of NCPCA we would like to thank you for your continued support and encourage you to verify your membership status with Lauri Oye. Yearly Memberships are $15 per Household, $5 for Seniors and $25 for Churches, Businesses and Non-Profits.
