Parks and Recreation has received a proposal from Wheel Fun Rentals, the company that rented paddle boats in City Park last year, to add bicycle and surrey rentals to their offering at City Park beginning this spring. You can see the types of equipment they are proposing to rent if you go to www.wheelfunrentals.com/listlocations/81. The bicycles and surreys are about half way down the page on the right had side.
Wheel Fun Rentals has been offering this service at Washington Park for almost 4 years. Their safety record is excellent and this family oriented activity has received overwhelmingly positive comments from park visitors.
Prior to approving the proposal, Parks and Recreation would like to know what citizens in the surrounding area think. So, please contact our office if you have any questions or if you have an opinion one way or the other. We would love to hear from you.
