A community meeting is scheduled for August 5, to discuss the Tent State University event at City Park. To the best of my knowledge, there has been minimal publicity about this meeting.

Tent State University Meeting Notice
You may have read or heard about the Tent State University at City Park the week of the Democratic Convention. There have been many concerns about the impact on the surrounding neighborhoods.
I am hosting a meeting on the evening of August 5th for neighbors to learn more about the details of the event and plans to mitigate the negative impacts on the neighborhood.
7:00 p.m.,Tuesday August 5th
Museum of Nature and Science,
Rickertson (sic) Auditorium (west entrance)
In addition, Madison is conducting an informal opinion poll about allowing camping in City Park. The poll is on the web site under “Monthly Survey.”
