Dear Community Members,
Denver, along with seven U.S. other cities, will be participating in “America’s largest Earth Day celebration”. All Phases Productions and Green Apple Festival are hosting the Denver installation of the Green Apple Festival from 1p.m. to 6 p.m. this Sunday, April 20, 2008 in City Park.
The festival features acoustic performances by The Neville Brothers, The Benevento/Russo Duo, and Rose Hill Drive. There will be speakers on-site addressing environmental and ecologically issues.
All Phases Productions has been working closely with the Denver Police Department, RTD, the Denver Zoo, the Parks Department, Museum and Neighborhood Groups to ensure that this event run smoothly for all parties involved. The Green Apple Festival has acquired the Auraria campus parking lots and arranged for RTD to shuttle guests to and from those lots to City Park. In the event that the Auraria campus parking lot reaches capacity, the East High School Parking lot will be available as on overflow lot.
Radio and print advertising has asked guests to either walk or use the parking lots provided to alleviate the stress put on the surrounding neighborhoods. The surrounding areas will have signage directing guests to the parking lots mentioned.
There will be no alcohol at this event. All Phases Productions will have systems in place to monitor the noise level and make sure the festival complies with city noise ordinances.
Any concerns about parking or noise can be directed to All Phases Productions at 720-304-9006. All Phases Productions will work quickly to address these concerns.
All Phases Production and the Green Apple Festival look forward to creating a positive and beneficial relationship with the local community and having a great Earth Day.
Hope to see you there,
Jeffrey Yeatman
