March 18, 2008 foreclosure seminar is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. @ Invesco Field, 1701 Bryant St. The meeting space will be in the Media photographers Workroom on field level. We will have a separate room for child care for directional purposes, please enter from “the north loading dock area (below Gate 5) and check-in with security. You will be directed to the Media Photographers Workroom for the meeting. Parking will be available in Lot J.”
The City and County of Denver in partnership with the department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the State Division of Housing, is hosting a comprehensive foreclosure seminar at INVESCO Field
The purpose of the seminar is to reach out to those who are in the midst of a foreclosure, may be facing foreclosure, know someone who may be, or who are generally concerned about the issue and how it is impacting their quality of life. The Colorado Foreclosure Task Force & the City and County of Denver will share information and facilitate a general discussion about how Colorado, Denver in particular, is tackling the issue.
There will be a general presentation on the foreclosure process, legal requirements and case studies that may be useful. Denver will share information on actions undertaken to address the problem and briefly share the results of a foreclosure research study just completed. Following the general presentation there will be a chance for one-on-one assistance with a number of housing counseling experts who will be on hand. Since one of the big concerns that people are having is difficulty reaching their lenders or knowing which department to work with, many of the lenders will also be in attendance at this event.
Please join us for this very informative and important event.
